About Homelessness Week 2024
Homelessness Week, hosted annually by Homelessness Australia, aims to build community and governmental support to end homelessness. This year's event will run from Monday, August 5 to Sunday, August 11, with the theme "Homelessness Action Now." The focus for 2024 is on addressing homelessness among children and families, a critical issue that requires immediate and sustained intervention.
Bluebird's Commitment
At Bluebird, we are fully committed to driving positive change in the social and affordable housing sector. We firmly believe that tackling homelessness demands a united effort from community groups, government bodies, and business pioneers. Bluebird is dedicated to and actively working with many high-quality Community Housing Providers and the State to deliver this much-needed social housing throughout QLD. We are deeply committed to the community housing sector. This past quarter alone our ever-growing team has been working on the delivery of more than 500 new social and affordable homes.
By supporting initiatives like Homelessness Week, we aim to contribute to meaningful progress in addressing homelessness and ensuring everyone has access to stable and secure housing.
